Frico (Oven Method)

You can’t get more basic than one ingredient…especially when that one ingredient is Cheese.  Now, crisp that cheese perfectly and you’ll redefine it.  The recipe: Simple.  The results: Sophisticated. 
The Oven Method is great for making more than an individual serving or turning Frico into bowls, fortune cookies or other shapes.

Instructions

  • Place finely grated Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese on Baking Sheet lined with a Silicone Baking Mat.
  • Using a fork, spread the Cheese into a circle about 3½ 4 inches in diameter.
  • Place in 400F oven for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown. No flipping needed.
  • Let cool on pan for about a minute and then place over a rolling pin (or something similar) to cool.
