About Me

I grew up learning how to cook from an early age.  Growing up with a French Mom and an Italian Dad, every occasion was centered around food!  At practically every meal, we would talk about what our next meal would be.  Needless to say, food is what brought our family and friends together so, in my family, learning how to cook was as important as learning how to walk.

Growing up, we would always eat together as a family around the dinner table…no cell phones, no TV, no video games.  Just us Fuccis.

We had to actually…talk…to each other.

I realize now that it was a way for my folks to stay connected with my sister and me and stay on top of what was going on in our lives.  To this day, I still remember many of the conversations we had and how breaking bread together kept our family close.

This is why I love cooking…it’s the conduit that brings people together!

Fast forward to today.  As many of you know, California is crazy expensive and so apartment living is the norm in big cities like Los Angeles, where I spend a good chunk of my time these days.  After spending a few years living in a small studio apartment, I came to master the art of cooking in a tiny space and many of my recipes actually became frequent requests of my friends, with whom I love sharing my recipes and techniques for small space cooking…not to mention a great meal.

Thus, with the encouragement of friends, Tiny Kitchen Big Taste was born.

I had come to realize there was a great desire among singles and young couples in L.A. to overcome their fears of cooking and create great tasting meals that are specially designed for a smaller kitchen (and those cooking for only one or two people).  Since launching Tiny Kitchen Big Taste, I am coming to realize that the desire is worldwide, and I am so happy to be able to share my recipes with folks from all around the world.

No matter our background or where we’re from, the love of food is the one thing we all have in common.

I sincerely hope you find some added joy making some of my recipes and sharing them with the ones you love…and if you have the time or ability to make family dinner a “thing” in your home, I encourage you to give it a shot.  You’ll be amazed at how well it can bring you closer to the ones you love.
