Tiny Tip of the Day // The Fastest and Easiest Way to Cook Bacon

Although I love the smell of freshly cooked bacon, I don’t like the mess.  Plus, it’s not the fastest thing in the world to cook either.  If you’re like me, I think you’ll like this Tiny Tip of the Day.  I find this method to be one of the fastest, easiest and most consistent ways to cook bacon.  Plus, you still get the great smell of freshly cooked bacon…and that’s something we can all agree on!

It’s just three easy steps:

  1. Place uncooked Bacon on a plate with 2-3 layers of paper towels (depending on the quality/thickness of your paper towels.)
  2. Cover the uncooked Bacon with another two layers of paper towels.

  3. Pop it in the microwave on high.  Start checking it at the 3 minute mark until you reach the desired crispiness. (Eight strips of bacon usually take about 4-5 minutes, depending on the microwave.)  Experiment a little bit with how long you cook it as microwave ovens vary.  Once you have it down, you’re set!Tiny Tip of the Day // Cooking Bacon in the Microwave

Enjoy!
